Birthday weekend!

Friday when Mike got off work we headed for Fort Cobb to spend the weekend. Mike's youngest sister Danielle turns 'Sweet 16' Sunday! I can't believe she is that old. She is growing up way too fast! She is a Sophomore in high school and an extremely good athlete on the softball and basketball teams. She is also a very good aunt! Adylyn has so much fun with her!

Danielle, you are an amazing young lady with a heart of gold. I know you will succeed in whatever you do because you are so in love with the Lord. You are a great role model for Adylyn. You are growing up way to fast but we look forward to watching you grow into a more beautiful woman. We love you very much and are glad we got to spend this special day with you!

When we got to Fort Cobb Friday evening Haley and Danielle had just finished up a couple softball games and met us at Danny and Sheri's house. There was a suprise waiting for Danielle when she got home!

Meet Molly! She is so cute and cuddly! Danielle was so excited!

Saturday, Haley and Danielle played in a festival in Velma. The heat really bothers me so Alesha, Addee, Adylyn, and I stayed at Pa and Grandma Sheri's for the day while Mike, Nate, Pa, and Grandma Sheri went and watched the softball games. The girls play really well together and have a blast so it was nice to let them have a day with no schedule, just play time!!
Here they are being silly and playing around!
Addee Marie and Adylyn Jane!

Haley and Danielle won both their games on Saturday. They came home really sunburned and exhausted so I'm really glad Adylyn and I didn't go. After the girls had showered and we ate dinner Danielle opened up her presents from Danny and Sheri.

She got a new golf glove
And a Boston Hat!

Sunday Danny, Mike, Nate, and Danielle got up early and went golfing. When they got home we left for Edmond. Mike's Aunt Vicki and Uncle Ted live in Edmond and have a swimming pool so Danielle wanted everyone to get together for a swimming party and Vicki invited us all into her home. Everyone was there. It was awesome! It doesn't happen very often where we all get together and everyone can make it. Since we have all grown there is always someone who can't make it. It was a great day spent with great family.

Videos of Reese!

Reese loves to go into Ady's room and bring out all her shoes and try to put them on. She has some dress up sets and they have high heeled shoes with them. Reese brought a pair out and was having problems get them on. So Aunt Jen helped him out. This boy cracks us up. He actually walked really good in them!!
The banging noise you hear in the background is Mike and Ryan in Ady's room!

Weekend Roudup..

Our weekend was another busy one. Friday Mike and I continued to work in Ady's room. I can't wait to put up my post showing you how it turned out! It's so cute. We are still waiting on her bed and we haven't finished the dresser yet. Hopefully in the next few weeks it will be completely finished. Then it's on to project #2!! We are so exhausted though. We need a bit of a break. Mike doesn't get home until between 6 and 7 and we hurry and eat dinner then it's off to working in Adylyn's room til 9 or 10. I'm worn out!!

I've told you before that Adylyn doesn't watch T.V. The only thing she will sit and watch is her Toy Story movies. Well the last few weeks she has been loving Sesame Street. I love it because it's educational and she picks up so much from it.
Here she is taking a break from swaddling her baby I'm sure to watch Sesame Street. What you can't see if that she is wearing her patent black leather shoes and no pants. She is into dressing herself and putting on every pair of shoes she owns throughout the day! Saturday, Mike went out to the golf course early to get a round in. We've had some problems with our pump for our pool so when he got back from golfing he went out and fixed the pool. It was already so hot! Jessi and Ryan came up and helped get ALOT done with Adylyn's room. They got the trim put back up and Jessi and I got that repainted.

Cody and Vanessa went to the river to do some fishing so Jax stayed with Aunt Jen and Aunt Jessi. We had a house full and still managed to get some work done. Well, Mike and Ryan did most of the work!
Here's Reese playing Wac-A-Mole. He was hilarious. He went to town on these guys. Ady loves this game and it's definitely teaching her hand-eye coordination and quickening her reflexes.

Ady loves puzzles. It amazes me how well she does them. Aunt Jessi brought her some more and here they are trying to figure them out.

I just LOVE this picture! Reese, Jax, and Ady. All we need is Brinley! They are alot of fun!
Saturday evening we took Jessi and Ryan to eat since they helped us out with Ady's room. We went to Blackwell and ate at Los Potros. It's a Mexican restaurant and probably our favorite. It's mine anyways. I am craving Mexican food right now! We had to run to Wal-Mart to grab a few things and on our way home we drove through the scariest wind and dust storm.
Sunday we got up for Sunday School and Church. Mike and Ryan got the chair rail put up in Ady's room after lunch and Jessi, Reese, Ady, and I took naps. Sunday evening we headed to the racetrack to watch Greg race. It was a crazy night and I'm still shocked there wasn't a full moon! Greg got 2nd in his heat and 4th in the feature. He was really fast and looked good! Jessi made shirts for Reese and Ady and I didn't get a picture of them. They are really cute shirts and I am mad I didn't get a pic. I'll get one the next race.
Ady and I are playing catch up around the house trying to get some things done. I go back to the doctor tomorrow (Wednesday) and I'm taking Ady with me. She's really excited. She'll tell you that we are going to the doctor to check and make sure peanut is growing good!
Thursday Cody goes to the city for his Neuropsych test. This test will determine if Cody's brain has healed and he is safe to return to work. Please keep him in your prayers. Please pray that God has healed Cody.
Another prayer request, Jake Kilian goes in for reconstructive surgery at 2pm this afternoon. It will last 5-7 hours. Please pray for a safe surgery and quick recovery for Jake. Also keep his medical team in your prayers too. I pray for his family. That God will grant them the patience and comfort they need while they wait through Jake's surgery. I know God has had Jake in his arms and he will again today.

13 Weeks!

How far along? 13 Weeks...2nd trimester!!

Baby's size? Cupcake is the size of a peach! About 3 inches!

Weight Gain? According to my scale I haven't gained anything. Suprises me because I haven't been doing as much as I usually do but then again I don't have much of an appetite either.

Maternity clothes? My baby tees are getting too tight for my sensitive stomach. I have some maternity shorts and board shorts that I wear when I'm not in my sweats or athletic shorts.

Stretch marks? No.

Sleep? Sleep is still not going good. I think the most I slept in one amount of time was maybe 2 hours. I usually see every hour on the clock.

Foods I am loving? Mexican this week.

Foods I am hating? Meat if it's not mixed into anything and the thought of hamburger makes me want to gag.

Best moment this week? It's been a really dull week. I'm not feeling the baby move yet so I guess it would be not vomitting!

Movement? None yet that I can feel yet. I can't wait!!

Symptoms? Bloating, TMI ALERT... itchy boobs. My stomach still rolls most of the time. I feel the worst when I let myself get hungry. Starting to get back aches. My doctor told me with Adylyn that my uterus tilts backwards so I would have alot of back pain and back labor. I had none. That pregnancy was textbook! This pregnancy has to be different of course! I'm beginning to wonder or I guess worry about labor!! My hips have started to hurt this week too.

Gender? I have no idea! We really don't care one way or the other either. We just want a healthy baby. We have a girl name picked out but can't decide on a boys name at all.

What I miss? This week I miss my appetite. I love food and I hate being picky!

What I'm looking forward to? Finding out peanuts gender AND feeling movement!!

Weekly Wisdom: Before getting in the vehicle to drive more than 10 minutes go to the bathroom even if you don't feel the need to go!!!

Milestones: Being in my 2nd trimester!! Woot Woot!

Emotions: Well that probably depends on who you ask, Michael or I!!! I have very little patience right now (not good I know when I'm about to be the mom to 2 little ones). I get in these moods where I don't want to be touched. I remember begging Mike to rub my back or my feet when I was pregnant with Adylyn! I got this bright idea to read through the blog I had when Cody had his accident. I read it from the very first post. That was not a very good idea. I balled and cryed and sobbed. My best friends brother was hit in the face with a softball while pitching and was hurt very bad. That has stirred up so many memories because I know exactly how Heather is feeling and I never want to go back there and it hurts my heart to know that she has hurt also.

Peanut::
Fingerprints have formed on your baby's tiny fingertips, her veins and organs are clearly visible through her still-thin skin, and her body is starting to catch up with her head — which makes up just a third of her body size now. If you're having a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Your baby is almost 3 inches long (the size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly an ounce.

I didn't get a picture taken this week. I forgot to ask Mike to take one last night. I go to the doctor Wednesday and maybe I'll get an US picture. If I do I'll post one of my growing belly too.

Week 12 of pregnancy

What's going on with the baby?
The most dramatic development this week: reflexes. Your baby's fingers will soon begin to open and close, his toes will curl, his eye muscles will clench, and his mouth will make sucking movements. In fact, if you prod your abdomen, your baby will squirm in response, although you won't be able to feel it. His intestines, which have grown so fast that they protrude into the umbilical cord, will start to move into his abdominal cavity about now, and his kidneys will begin excreting urine into his bladder.

Meanwhile, nerve cells are multiplying rapidly, and in your baby's brain, synapses are forming furiously. His face looks unquestionably human: His eyes have moved from the sides to the front of his head, and his ears are right where they should be. From crown to rump, your baby-to-be is just over 2 inches long.

Baby's size? size of a large plum. About 2 inches.

Next Dr. Appt? August 18th.

How's Momma Doing:

Weight Gain? My weight fluctuates day to day. I still haven't gained anything though. Not had much of an appetite. Big change from my pregnancy with Adylyn, I gained almost 50 pounds!

Maternity Clothes? Still in regular tops but jeans and shorts have to be maternity. Another big change from Adylyn, I didn't wear maternity until about 6 months with her. The rubberband trick isn't working anymore!

Stretch Marks? No

Sleep? What's that? I don't sleep well at night therefore during the day I'm exhausted. I can't get comfortable plus I have to pee every 2 hours and I am night time training Adylyn.

Foods I am loving? I love big hearty meals, steak, chicken fried steak and all the fixings. And spicy peanuts!

Foods I am hating? McDonald's and not to fond of sweets. Which is odd for me because I have a HUGE sweet tooth.

Movement? Not yet

Symptoms? Exhausted and upset stomach alot. I may smell something and all of a sudden start gagging. I've only vommited a few times through the whole pregnancy but lots of gagging! My stomach rolls all the time and it makes me feel yucky. I also feel thirsty all the time. So I drink alot of water and then I feel bad because I've drank way to much!

What I miss? Having all the energy that I had before. But I wouldn't trade it! I have a wonderful husband and Father to my kids who helps out so much.

Our weekend wrap-up.

We've had a pretty busy weekend. Mike's Aunt Debi and her youngest son Greyson came to town to spend the weekend with us. We haven't seen her in a while so it was so good to catch up with them. They came down Friday night. Friday Mike and I got everything out of Adylyn's room and Mike pulled all the trim off the walls so we can get started on painting and sanding everything. I had been busy last week cleaning out our spare bedroom, which was pretty much our storage room! I had to organize other closets in the house to be able to find a place for everything. It took me a few days and I'm paying for it now! I'll explain all that when I make my post updating my pregnancy. I can't wait to see Ady's room finished. I hope it pulls together like I'm picturing it. I'll post before and after pics when we are finished.

Saturday, Mike got up early and went out to the golf course. Debi, Ady, Greyson, and I went to Enid to spend some time with The Burt's. Debi hasn't seen Brinley since she was born and I'm never gonna pass up time to spend with this sweet baby girl.
Plus her momma and daddy are pretty special people too. Greg and Papa Gene were out getting the race car ready to head to Muskogee to race. We really wanted to go but Mike and I both teach Sunday school classes and it would have been way to late for us to get home. But I cheered in my heart and Team Burt picked up another A Feature Win! WOO HOO!!! Greg is racing in Enid Sunday so we will definitely be making that! After we visited with Greg, Becky, and Brinley we met Jessi and Reese for lunch. I have an amazing sister and I love to spend time with her, and Reese is just the best thing ever! Mike had come in after golfing to eat lunch with us and to make a Lowe's trip. We needed a few more things for Ady's room and some things for the pool. I ended up locking my keys in my car while it was running when we were leaving Lowe's! I'm notorious for locking my keys in my car but I haven't done it since we've had this car. About 30 minutes later Mike had it open. Debi, Ady, Greyson, and I went and continued our shopping and Mike came home and took a nap! We shopped for a few hours and headed home to grill out. We spent Saturday evening just hanging out. Ady and Debi played for a while and I was ready for bed!!!

Sunday we got up and went to sunday school and church then came home and I got homeade chicken noodles put together for supper. Mike finished prepping Ady's room for painting and then we all layed down and took a nap! The evening ended up with a wonderful dinner and some Cowboy football! I hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great week ahead. Remember to say 'I Love You'. You never know when it could be your last!
