Will it ever slow down?

I do not have enough hours in the day. School work is taking up so much of my time! It will be well worth it when it's all over I just have to get past this part. I've come to realize that updating the blog will not be happening as much as I would like it. It's just not on the top of my priority list.

Logan is changing so much. He's crawling everywhere and even climbing onto things! He has stood by himself a few times but only for a few seconds. I can't even count how many times the words "Where is Logan" are said each day! He is very quick and will go from room to room exploring!

Quite often you can find him here! Standing up in front of the tv watching it or trying to grab something!

The best big sister around!

Ady has started back to gymnastics and was so excited! She couldn't wait! She has been put in the class with 5-7 year olds! Over the summer they couldn't believe how much she picked up and how advanced she was for her age! You can tell by the look on her face when she's out there how much fun she's having!

Logan is teething. Gerber has some toddler cookies that are alot like the teething biscuits that I gave Ady when she was teething. They are just as messy too! They are banana flavor and both Ady and Logan like them so I think they were a hit!

Happy 6 months Logan!

Logan Bear is 6 months old already!!!! It has flown by so fast. It honestly feels like I was just pregnant with him last week! He is doing so many new things it's amazing! He is growing so fast and I couldn't imagine missing him doing all his new tricks that he is doing! He has changed our life so much. Things are so much different with two now. Definitely not easy! But it is fun and never boring! God has blessed us with happy, healthy, and smart children.

We get told daily that he looks just like Mike and we also get told that he looks like me or Jessi! He must be a perfect mixture!

He has the most contagious smile! It makes me heart smile!

He is such a busy little boy. He is pulling up onto EVERYTHING and starting to climb also. He keeps me on my toes and the words "Where is Logan" are heard more than once throughout the day! He likes to wander to the bedrooms!



I just love this face and those dimples!

Logan's hair seems to be only growing up front! He needs his bangs cut already!

Max is his best friend. Logan may not be Max's though!

What Logan is up to:

• He is eating every 2-3 hours during the day. With eating baby food now his bottles have been a little less during the day.
• He has not been sleeping well lately. He has been getting up every 2 hours and eating every time! These teeth need to hurry and come in because this momma is beyond exhausted!
• He is eating baby food for all meals. There hasn't been anything that he doesn't like yet!
• He is wearing 3-6 month clothes. Some 6-9 month fits well.
• Wearing size 2 diapers.
• I put shoes on him for church and had to put a 3 on him! His feet are so wide that a 3 was what I could get his flinstone feet in!
• He LOVES water! Swimming pool or bathtub! We have moved him from his little tub to sitting in the big tub and he LOVES it!
• He definitely knows his Momma. When I leave him he is fine, but when I come back and he realizes I've been gone he cries and crawls to me.
• He gets to spend a few hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Great Grandma Mary while Momma is in class.
• He loves big sister Ady and is always curious as to what she is doing. He wants to be right in the middle of it!
• He has this long loud squeal for a laugh!
• He is VERY ticklish!
• He loves to be outside!
• He is still not real sure about having a cup. Most of the time he just chews on it.
• He loves to jump but isn't liking the Jumperoo so much anymore. I think it's because he is contained and can't move around.
• He doesn't like to be held! Don't get me wrong he has his moments where he wants to be held but for the majority of the time he doesn't like to be because he wants down to roam around!

Logan Bear,

You are such a joy to be around. I can hardly remember our days without you! Your dad and I are trying our best to raise you to be a Godly man full of courage, faith, care, wisdom, and strong faith. I know you will have a big heart. I can't wait to see what the future holds for you. I have no doubt that you will be successful in anything you do. Always trust in God and follow his directions. We love you to the moon and back.

Eating peas!

Monday, August 1 Logan ate peas for the first time. This was his first time to have baby food! He didn't seem to mind them at all. I really don't think there will be much that he won't eat. He just loves to eat period!

What happens when Mike and Ryan babysit...

Saturday morning Jessi and I went to a money saving workshop put on by Sara Roe, The Money Saving Queen. If you ever have the opportunity to go to one of her classes I highly recommend it! She is awesome! I have been couponing and trying to be frugal for a couple months now and she really helped us get started and give us some pointers. Jessi and I are excited to save tons of money. It's actually alot of fun! Mike and Ryan had the kids while we were gone. When we got home Ady greeted me and showed me what she got!

Celebrating Ryan's birthday!

Friday we celebrated Ryan's birthday. God has blessed our family by providing Jessi with a great husband and an awesome dad for Reese. I couldn't have picked a better one. Oh wait I did pick Ryan!!! We went to eat at Rib Crib and then went bowling. There were about 20 of us! We never do anything little! We had a great night spent with great family! Happy Happy birthday Ryan and thank you for taking such good care of my baby sister and sweet nephew. You have a huge heart and a very funny personality! We love you!

Logan is on the move and everywhere! He will go into the bathroom if her hears us in there or into the kitchen if that's where we are. He's hit his head a couple of times on the tile and I don't have a gate to go into this doorway (it's wider than most doors). So I made a makeshift gate with one of the chairs from the dining room. He crawled right back over and went through this chair like he'd done it a million times! Never thought twice about it! Well that was a fail!! I really don't know why I'm suprised. Ady did the same exact thing!
