Birthday Weekend!

I haven't blogged in a few weeks because my computer cord decided to crap out on me! I finally got the 'correct' one in the mail today!! YAY! So here I am!

My birthday was Friday, July 15th. For dinner we went to Caldwell and ate at The Red Barn with my mom, Chris, Bubba, Nessa, and Jax. Saturday morning we had a memorial service for my step mom's mom (Earlene) (another post). After the service we headed back to Earlene's house for a HUGE dinner. My dad and Kim will make this home their new home shortly. It has an indoor swimming pool. We didn't take the kids with us to the memorial because it was graveside and super hot. After the house cleared out we went and got the kids (Thanks Aunt T for watching them!) so they could swim. Grandma H always wanted a house full of people and her pool full!

This post has alot of pictures. I was busy doing other stuff around the house and with the kids when I realized that I had put all the pictures from that weekend on here! Oops! Oh well! Enjoy! I'll just leave it to the pictures to explain our days!

2 of my favorite people!! We get told quite a bit that Logan looks like Jessi!

I'm sure this was in the middle of a fight!

Probably another of my favorite pictures! Who doesn't love a baby's butt!

Our week...

Our weeks are usually pretty low key. Here are some pictures to show you some of the things I caught on camera! Most are with my iPhone.
On Tuesdays Ady has gymnastics. She LOVES it! And she does awesome. Not that I'm biased but honestly everytime she goes she improves so much! Her coach told me last week that she did not think she needed to be in the 3-4 year old class when the semester starts. She wants her in the beginner class (5-6 years old). Which is what the majority of the girls in her summer class will be in. This picture isn't very good it was taken with my phone and through a window!

Saturday Jessi and I had a garage sale at Jessi's. Ady and Reese kept coming out and playing with the toys that we were trying to sell. Reese loves to wear hats. He kept getting in the hat box and trying them all out! Here Reese and Ady are pretending like they are watching a movie! Oh the imagination of a 2 and 3 year old!

One afternoon Ady wanted to play games. Hungry Hungry Hippos was her choice! (by the way, I think she learned to play games with her Bubba. She will cheat and can not stand to lose. We play until she wins). Logan scooted over to join us!
This is why we find things to do inside!

Logan has started to hold his bottle.

I had to go for a check up today (everything is fine). I put Logan back in his car seat to play with a toy. Within 5 seconds he got himself like this. This is why he has to be buckled into EVERYTHING! This is also the last time I am carrying him in this. He's just way to heavy!
This is Logan's playboy pose! He did this while I was getting in his drawer for a onesie after I changed his diaper.
Ady asks me all the time if Logan can lay in bedroom and play. I take this opportunity to get something done! I think I was washing bottles and Ady comes into the kitchen and tells me Logan is under her bed! He sure enough was!
Logan has what is called a Wabanub. It is a little stuffed bear with a pacifier on it. The pacifier is huge. He doesn't suck on it. He chews on it though!
One evening Mike and Logan decided to take a little nap!
One of Logan's favorite pastime! Jumping!
And Ady is really into puzzles lately! She actually did the majority of this one all by herself!!

The Lost Photos!

The post is for all the pictures that I just got off my point and shoot camera that I keep in the diaper bag! I always forget to get it out and take the pictures off and put them on the computer. Well I finally remembered today! I didn't realize that I had pictures on there from April!!

This first picture is from Brinley's 1st birthday party. Brinley's mom Becky has a blog over Here. We tried to get all the kids together for a pic!

Gma Jane helping Ady blow bubbles at B's party.
One Sunday after church we all decided to go to the public pool here in Medford.

The water was FREEZING! It had rained the day before and poor Ady and Reese would shake and shiver the whole time they were in the water. But we couldn't get them out!
This girl LOVES the water!

Logan loves to be outside so he was very content!

Hanging out with Aunt Jessi!

Remember when I wrote about our camping trip this year and I told you that we caught a Gar?
Look at those teeth!

For those that have never seen one this is what they look like. They are nasty creatures I think. When they get on your line they usually get all twisted up and end up ruining your line.

Thank goodness this one just got the hook and we didn't have to redo our line. But they are still hard to get off.
You basically just beat them! Sounds horrible! I'm pretty sure that's what Dad is doing here!

Fun Fest 2011

Last Friday was Medford's annual Fun Fest. It started off with free swimming and diving contests then free putt-putt. Well it was way to hot to take a 3 year old and a 4 month out in all that. The turtle races were at 6. Mike called Friday morning to tell us that he had found a turtle and wanted to know if Ady wanted him to bring it home. He had to ask because Ady has a deathly fear of the little critters! She will scream bloody murder if you bring one near here. I talked her into letting him bring it for the races. Well it ended up being let go but at 6 pm it was still WAY to hot to drag out these 2. We decided it was for the best and didn't even go up town for the races. They had a sand dig that started 8 or right after the turtle races. We got there towards the end of the races. It was still a little warm but with it being downtown the sun was low enough the buildings created shade and it was tolerable.

We got a piece of yummy watermelon when we got there!
Ady digging in the sand for money. She was way to calm and nicely moved the sand over looking for coins. I think she came out of there with 25 cents! I told her next year she has to be alot more aggressive!
Ady and Gunnar. I think they had more fun playing in the sand then looking for money!
Logan Bear and Dad!

Ady and Nana did the cake walk!
And again! I'm not sure how many times they walked but never got anything. They were so close a few times!

There wasn't really a whole lot to do! We went and got sno cones and talked to some people then Ady was ready to head home. I guess it was something to do in this little ol town!!

My 2 loves!!!

Our days have been filled with lots of playing inside since it's been so hot! Our pool has some issues and to be honest it would be more work than fun to be in there with 2 little ones that can't swim! Somehow our days always get filled and they seem to fly by!

This picture cracks me up! Logan has his own paparazzi!

Ady wanted to take some pictures with Logan one morning. She was willing to pose so I got my camera and started snapping away! He's getting so big!
Love these 2! They make me so happy!

This is probably my favorite picture of Logan to date!

This is how I find him after naps. All smiles!! Actually when I go in to get him he is on the other end of his crib and playing with his music machine! Thanks Gma Jane!

Such a happy boy!

Sweet Sweet Ady Jane!

He loves to spend time in his walker and jumperoo.

Ady's first dentist appt!

Yesterday Ady and I both had dentist appointments. This was Ady's first time to actually get her teeth cleaned. Last year she sat on my lap and Dr. Small counted and just checked them out. This year she got the whole shibang!! She did AMAZING!!! I was so proud of her!

Wearing her cool sunglasses!

The dentist did say that she may need braces in a few years because her teeth are close together and there won't be any room for her permanent ones to come in. GREAT!

Our hygienist was very good. She took every tool she would use and showed Ady and even did it on her hand to show her it wouldn't hurt. I think that was the key! Ady wasn't afraid to have those go in her mouth since she knew exactly what they did.

Pretty girl with a pretty smile!!!

Other than the spacing issues Dr. said her teeth look great!!!!
