Church Christmas Program 2010

Sunday December 19th we had our annual church Christmas program. Ady was chosen to be Mary for this program. So we have done lots of learning the past month about who Mary, Joseph, and Jesus are and what they did. She did really good. Her and Joseph (Jackson Duffield) didn't really have to do much. Just walk down and sit in a chair by the manger. But getting two 3 year olds to sit still for any length of time can be difficult!

This is the choir singing Christmas carols while 'the family' reads the Christmas story. Tanner Misak was the dad and Mia Long was the mom. The program turned out really good. Jamie Smith did an awesome job! I love how there were actions to go along with the story. It really wasn't like you were sitting there watching a play.
This is Ady's Sunday School class!

The original innkeeper couldn't make it so Chad Smith (don't worry I haven't said a thing!!!) had to fill in! Thanks Chad! You're a trooper!
Ady and Jackson had to walk down and knock on the innkeepers door looking for room. He told them no 2 times before telling them yes and pointed to the chair where they sat during the program.

I love that this is her second program to be in at our church. I love that she will grow up in this same church being a part of these things. It's such a blessing to have a wonderful church to call your home. Merry Christmas!
